Medication:

ceftazidim iv 2000mg 3dd 1 to 2 weeks

+

tobramycine iv 7mg/kg 1dd 1 to 3 days
Remarks:
  • Ceftazidim evt. oplaaddosis 2000mg, gevolgd door continue infusie 6000mg/24u. 
  • Tobramycine mede van belang voor het verbreden van het spectrum bij toenemende resistentie. Dosering altijd op geleide van spiegelbepaling, zie tobramycine en Bepalingenwijzer UMCG: tobramycine.
  • Bij goede respons en bewezen gevoeligheid switch naar ciprofloxacine po 750mg 2dd.
  • Systemische therapie combineren met lokale therapie: ofloxacine oordruppels 3mg/ml (0,5ml; 1 verpakking) 2dd 7 druppels in de gehoorgang van het aangedane oor druppelen.
  • Totale behandelduur is 6 weken (op basis van kliniek en beeldvorming).

Remarks:

Systemische therapie combineren met lokale therapie: ofloxacine oordruppels 3mg/ml (0,5ml; 1 verpakking) 2dd 7 druppels in de gehoorgang van het aangedane oor druppelen.

General comments

  • Systemische therapie combineren met lokale therapie.
  • Totale behandelduur is 6 weken (op basis van kliniek en beeldvorming).
  • Indien klachten van oorsuizen, duizeligheid of acuut gehoorverlies bij gebruik van oordruppels en geperforeerd trommelvlies: behandeling stoppen.
