General comments

  • Therapieduur afhankelijk van beeldvorming, maar minimaal 6 weken.
  • Zelfs zonder een bekend onderliggende cardiale voorgeschiedenis, moet echocardiografie worden uitgevoerd bij alle patiënten met multipele abcessen of cryptogeen hersenabces (verdenking op strooihaarden).
