General comments
Indien de kliniek het toe staat geen antibiotica starten voordat biopt/punctie is afgenomen.
Antibiotica aanpassen op geleide van kweek.
Na 1 week evaluatie van iv behandeling met arts-microbioloog en/of internist-infectioloog om eventueel te switchen naar oraal regime.
Totale behandelduur 6 weken.
Bij hemoglobinopathie: houdt rekening met Salmonella enterica.
