  • Doxycycline bij bewezen gevoeligheid
  • Indien po toediening niet mogelijk is, kan doxycycline iv worden gegeven (zelfde dosering)
  • Doxycycline NIET bij zwangerschap/lactatie
Medication:

ceftriaxon iv 2000mg 1dd 5 days
Remarks:

Ceftriaxon bij:

  • NIET IgE-gemedieerd (type I) en NIET Stevens- Johnson syndroom / TEN
  • Indicatie voor IV therapie bij doxycycline resistentie of nog onbekende gevoeligheid
Medication:

moxifloxacine po 400mg 1dd 5 days
Remarks:

Moxifloxacine bij:

  • IgE-gemedieerd (type I) of Stevens- Johnson syndroom / TEN
    Indien po toediening niet mogelijk is, kan moxifloxacine iv worden gegeven (zelfde dosering)
  • Mogelijkheid voor PO therapie bij doxycycline resistentie of nog onbekende gevoeligheid
  • Moxifloxacine NIET bij zwangerschap/lactatie

General comments

Meldingsplichtige ziekte groep C: Aantonen van Streptococcus pneumoniae in een normaal steriele plaats (bijvoorbeeld bloed of liquor) bij personen geboren vanaf 2006 en - per 1 april 2021 - bij personen van 60 jaar of ouder is een meldingsplichtige ziekte groep C. Het laboratorium en de arts melden een geval van invasieve pneumokokkeninfectie binnen een werkdag aan de GGD.
