ceftriaxon iv 2000mg 1dd

metronidazol po 500mg 3dd 7 to 14 days
Remarks:
  • Bij sepsis voeg tobramycine i.v. 7 mg/kg 1dd toe tot de uitslag van de kweken bekend zijn
  • Bij goede orale belastbaarheid kan metronidazol po worden gegeven (voor de tablet geldt dezelfde dosering als iv, suspensie 3dd 750 mg ivm lagere biologische beschikbaarheid).

General comments

Behandel patiënten met ongecompliceerde acute diverticulitis (Hinchey 1) niet routinematig met antibiotica.

Tobramycine kan in ieder geval éénmalig gegeven worden, ook wanneer er sprake is van nierfunctiestoornissen.

Tobramycine inlooptijd 30 minuten.

Men dient rekening te houden met de resultaten van eerdere kweken 3 tot 6 maand terug!
