  • Bij goede orale belastbaarheid kan metronidazol po worden gegeven (voor de tablet geldt dezelfde dosering als iv, bij suspensie 3dd 750 mg i.v.m. lagere biologische beschikbaarheid).

General comments

Bij een septische patiënt zie sepsis e.c.i. voor eventuele aanvullende therapie ter verbreding van het antimicrobiële spectrum.

Totale behandelduur 10-14 dagen. Bij goede kliniek kan na 2 dagen worden geswitched van i.v. naar p.o., evt. in overleg met internist-infectioloog en/of arts-microbioloog,
